Progress meetings reports

Second Progress Meeting report (10th January 2012):

• ATCA-PTSW-AMC4 and ATCA-PTSW-AMC4_RTM modifications required for production ready (as of late Nov. 2011).
• ATCA-PTSW-AMC4 user manual first draft ready
• Board production plan first draft ready;
• Board enginnering design first draft ready;
• Boards production:  quotations for fabrication received - evaluation in progress (see attached files). A comparison study between the quotations received is written here.
• ATCA-PTSW-AMC4 and ATCA-PTSW-AMC4_RTM "bill of materials" concluded.
• Component stock verification - in progress (about 80% of components arrived)
• Hardware engineering files and hardware production files to be stored on ITER SVN - awaiting access login. 
• Board tests to be done listed into the Test Plan section - in progress;
• AMC site and PCIe tests are being made with the current hardware versions;
• Renaming of folder structure to normalize board designation to "ATCA-PTSW-AMC4" - in progress
• Training day at ZHAW for the IEEE 1588 IP Core
• Distribution of Traing doc files to ITER SVN
• Starting of integration on present Firmware and Ethernet PHY (AVAGO TECHNOLOGIES - ABCU-5710RZ - TRANSCEIVER)
• (Update) Boards production:  quotation for fabrication received. New comparison study between the quotations received until now is here. 

Next month

Firmware:
    -Implementation of PCIe Gen 2 Interface on Firmware
   - Integration of IPMC module with clock cross-switch configuration by IPMI
Software:
    -Device driver development for Board configuration
